Wasla – Youth Empowerment Platform
Client:
Tunisian Youth ministry - DIGIDCO
Year:

Category:

Position:
Tunisia
Job type:
Tunisia
The platform is still under development, with its official launch planned soon.
I had the opportunity to work as a Fullstack Developer on the Wasla Platform, a project in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Youth. My role involved co-designing the architecture, translating the platform’s needs into backend and frontend code, and ensuring a seamless, responsive user experience across devices. The project was built using a monorepo structure for efficient code sharing and scalable development.
The platform includes a Landing Page to introduce its mission and provide smooth access for all users. The Admin Backoffice allows ministries and organizations to manage users, institutions, bootcamps, and track engagement through real-time analytics. The Opportunities Hub aggregates training programs, bootcamps, and internships from multiple institutions, providing youth with personalized recommendations based on their skills and goals.
Additional features include interactive learning modules with quizzes and self-assessments, and a chatbot assistant that offers guidance, program suggestions, and quick answers to user inquiries. On the frontend, I implemented React.js, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and Material-UI templates, while the backend was built with Express.js and SQL to manage data efficiently and securely.
Stack: React JS, Next JS TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Material-UI, Express.js, SQL, Monorepo
[Private Backoffice System]
